Dear All: We have one item in today's message. Fall 2015 Workshops announcement It's that time of year again when the Center for Global Services (CGS) brings to you its annual fall workshops on Hiring Foreign Nationals at Rutgers. Attached please find complete descriptions of the three core competency workshops we are offering on the following dates: October 8, October 13, and 15. A lot has happened in the green cards area, come find out. In addition, this is the faculty hiring season therefore you need to know about all the tools you will need in order to assist in the processing of University sponsored legal permanent residency for newly hired faculty. The workshops have been posted on the Human Resources (HR) website and are accessible via "Your Personal and Professional Development" link at http://uhrapps.rutgers.edu/profdev/script/allcourses.asp. Choose the "Human Resources Development" category from the HR list. The dropdown menu will list all workshops being offered and from here you can select the relevant workshops listed as Hiring Foreign Nationals: Parts I of III, II of III , III of III in order to register. Since space at these workshops is limited to only 40 people per session, registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Coffee and pastries will be served. Attention: Please pass the attached workshop announcement to anyone in your Department, Center or Institute who is responsible for submitting visa requests to our Center, but who might not yet be on our contact list. Anyone in the university community in this role is welcome to send a request for subscription to Asenath Dande at adande@gaiacenters.rutgers.edu in order to be added. We look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming workshops! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
